Role Responsibilities
The Central Impression (CI) Flexo Press Operator is responsible for manufacturing preprinted rolls, monitoring print quality, and maintaining press conditions. Using advanced equipment, the operator sets up, operates, and maintains the CI Flexo printing press on various paper stocks. Candidates should have solid printing experience, strong math skills, good attendance, and a desire to grow their career.

• Adhere to all safety rules, procedures, and guidelines.
• Report safety concerns to supervisors.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Complete pre-flight/make-ready checks for each job.
• Gather and verify print cylinders, rollers, substrates, inks, and supplies.
• Perform plate mounting as needed.
• Operate the press to meet customer specifications, tracking quality and efficiency metrics.
• Conduct quality checks including copy, color, registration, and ink adhesion.
• Follow procedures and work instructions according to standards.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, including cleaning and lubrication.
• Comply with safety policies and regulations such as GMP, HACCP, BRC.
• Perform other tasks as required.

Qualifications

• 1 to 5 years of flexographic printing experience or training.
• Knowledge of brands like Uteco, W&H, PCMC, KYMC, KBA-Flexotecnica, Bobst, or Allstein GmbH is preferred.
• Equivalent education and experience are acceptable.

Minimum Requirements

• Legal eligibility to work in the U.S.

• Ability to work overtime as needed.

• Completion of training courses as required.
