Job Overview
The CI Operator Assistant assists in operating printing equipment and related auxiliary tools to produce high-quality labels. The role involves maintaining equipment, troubleshooting daily issues, and ensuring the inks are properly managed across all decks.
Responsibilities
- Conduct daily safety inspections of the work area and address any issues.
- Operate printing presses safely, following safety and PPO rules.
- Analyze and follow the press schedule, planning for work order completion.
- Utilize auxiliary tools at the press for process control and traceability.
- Share troubleshooting experiences and communicate effectively within the team.
- Perform corrective actions promptly, identify, and segregate non-conforming products.
- Proactively suggest improvements for processes, methods, equipment, and materials.
- Maintain control over the printing process, ensuring quality and productivity.
- Keep the work environment clean and safe.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree in Industrial Technology or related field.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of Color Management, plastic films, and inks.
- 5-15 years of related experience in printing processes.
