Job description

CI Exercise Physiologist Role

The CI Exercise Physiologist is responsible for coordinating exercise and health needs of participants in Cardiac, Pulmonary, Vascular, and Medical Exercise programs. This includes cardiac monitoring, assessing exercise tolerance, developing exercise prescriptions, and creating ongoing exercise and health plans. The role also involves providing health promotion and education within the scope of practice, aiming to achieve optimal outcomes in the specialty programs.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology, or Kinesiology required; Master’s Degree preferred.
  • License/Certifications: ASCM, NASM, AACVPR Certification preferred. Current BLS and ACLS certifications required or must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
