Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a CI/CD Engineer to design, implement, and maintain scalable release pipelines for the Finance Data Product. You will partner with Finance and engineering teams to deliver secure, reliable data solutions at scale.

Responsibilities include building pipelines in GitLab, integrating with ServiceNow, managing registries, and creating IaC templates for secure deployments on GCP. The role emphasizes automation, security gating, and developer enablement.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in DevOps, CI/CD, SRE, or full-stack development with hands-on CI/CD exposure.
Strong scripting and automation skills with programming language such as Python, Go, or Javascript.
Experience with modern cloud-native delivery and release automation.

Responsibilities

Architect, build, and evolve scalable CI/CD pipelines in GitLab for multi-language microservices.
Integrate deployment pipelines with change-management and compliance systems like ServiceNow.
Administer package and container registries and support developer interactions.
Collaborate on secure deployment templates for GCP services (GKE, Cloud Run, IAM).
Create self-service automation and templates to accelerate safe releases.
Embed security and quality gates in merge pipelines and resolve build/deploy issues.
Write Terraform configurations and guide developers on IaC usage.
Document playbooks and diagrams to drive inner-source contributions.
