Job summary

Ampcus Inc is seeking a DevOps/CI-CD Engineer for a 12-month contract in Columbia, MD (remote with monthly onsite). The role focuses on implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines, and supporting cloud infrastructure on AWS with EKS Kubernetes.

Qualified candidates have a bachelor's in IT/CS and at least 3 years in DevOps or cloud systems engineering, with strong scripting (Bash, Python) and collaboration skills. This position is temp-to-perm with hybrid onsite requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or CS required or equivalent experience.
• 3 years in software, DevOps, or cloud systems engineering.
• Strong CI/CD experience, Jenkins/Groovy, automation scripting.
• Experience with container tech: Kubernetes, Docker, AWS EKS.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• 70%: Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, deploy applications to Test/Prod, automate with Python/Groovy, coordinate with dev/test teams.
• 30%: Monitor and support Linux/Windows production environments, manage containers with Kubernetes/Podman, and leverage AWS services.
