Job summary

Cornerstone Church seeks a Church Planter. Direct Supervisor: Ben Jensen. This is a FULL-TIME staff position.

Responsibilities include preparing for planting via coaching and self-led study, creating organizational documents and budgets, recruiting and shepherding the core team, conducting evangelism and outreach, arranging regular meetings, and travel as needed for planting preparations. Job evaluation will be based on the described duties under leadership supervision.

• Experience or focus on church planting and mission work.
• Ability to recruit and develop key volunteers and staff.

Responsibilities

• Prepare yourself for church planting through coaching and self-led reading, studying, etc.
• Prepare your church as an organization by creating initial organizational documents, budgets, and vision statements.
• Prepare your people to be a church by regular meetings and recruiting your core team, shepherding them through the transition, and engaging in evangelism and outreach in your community.
• Travel as needed for planting preparations.

• Prepare your church as an organization- Create initial organizational documents- Create church budget, vision statements and materials
• Prepare your people to be a church- Regular meetings and recruitment of your core team- Shepherding your core team as you transition to a new church- Evangelism and outreach in your community- Recruit and develop key positions
• Travel as needed for planting preparations
