TEAM staff thoroughly embrace the purpose, vision, beliefs, and values of TEAM.

About the Role: The Church Partnerships Manager leads TEAM’s efforts to cultivate and strengthen strategic relationships with local churches across the United States to advance God’s mission among the nations. This leader will champion a vision that TEAM is built for the Church—serving as a bridge between the local church and the global Church through healthy collaboration, shared mission, and long-term partnership. The Church Partnerships Manager develops strategies to help churches discover, develop, send, and sustain global workers while ensuring TEAM serves churches with relational excellence and missiological integrity. This role works closely with Mobilization, Personnel, Development and Global Ministry teams to ensure a unified and innovative approach to Greater Global Gospel Impact.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Articulate a compelling biblical theology of mission and the Church’s role in God’s global purposes.
  • Maintain strong alignment with TEAM’s mission, values, and doctrinal commitments.
  • Raise 100% of your financial support (salary and benefits)
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive church partnership strategy that strengthens TEAM’s relationships with local churches and positions TEAM as a trusted missions partner.
  • Create systems and best practices for identifying, cultivating, and sustaining strategic church partnerships.
  • Lead organizational efforts to strengthen church-centered collaboration and engagement.
  • Research emerging missiological trends to better serve churches and inform TEAM’s strategy.
  • Build and maintain relationships with pastors, missions leaders, and church leadership teams.
  • Cultivate partnerships characterized by shared vision, mutual investment, and a commitment to sending and sustaining global workers.
  • Develop pathways for churches to engage in missions through prayer, sending, disciple-making, leadership development, and global partnerships.
  • Maintain a strategic portfolio of key church relationships and partnerships.
  • Represent TEAM at churches, conferences, universities, seminaries, and missions events.
  • Communicate a compelling biblical vision for God’s global mission and the Church’s role in it.
  • Equip churches to develop healthy sending cultures and missions strategies.
  • Speak, teach, and provide resources on missions, sending, missiology, and global partnerships.
Qualifications of the Role:
  • Spiritually mature with a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and actively involved in a local church.
  • Prior pastoral, church staff, missions, or nonprofit leadership with cross-cultural ministry experience is desirable as is fluency in a second language.
  • Highly relational leader experienced in cultivating high-trust relationships and collaborative partnerships, with knowledge across a broad range of local church contexts and missions philosophies, who loves people and inspires others toward greater mission engagement.
  • Self-starter with strong organizational leadership, strategic thinking and project management capabilities to execute strategy and accomplish goals independently.
  • Skilled communicator—both verbally and in writing who is comfortable speaking publicly and facilitating training sessions or workshops.
  • Bachelor’s degree and theological or ministry training preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 or similar productivity tools and experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems preferred.
