• Professional certification or degree in accounting is preferred.
• Experience using accounting software such as QuickBooks and church management software such as Planning Center.
• Experience supervising staff and volunteers, managing budgets, and overseeing office operations is preferred.
• Experience working in a church or nonprofit context is preferred.

• Maintain accurate financial records including income, expenses, designated funds, payroll, and contributions.
• Oversee bank accounts, deposits, withdrawals, reconciliations, and cash flow.
• Review invoices, reimbursements, and expenditures per church policies.
• Prepare annual budget and monitor performance with leadership.
• Provide regular financial reports to the church board and committees.
