Job summary

Century Assembly is seeking a Communications Director to oversee church-wide communication and help tell the story of God at work in our church. You will develop strategies for communications and social media, keeping the congregation informed while creatively capturing people, culture, and experiences that define Century Assembly.

In collaboration with pastoral leadership and the Creative Team, you will plan ahead for events and ministry priorities, while remaining flexible as needs evolve.

Qualifications

• Experience in communications, social media, marketing, or content creation.
• Church communications experience is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok, including planning, writing, and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the central point for church-wide communication.
• Develop social media strategy and content calendars for multiple platforms.
• Write, schedule, and publish approved social media content.
• Collaborate with Creative Team to capture photos, video, and graphics.
• Coordinate communications for events and ministry priorities.
• Prepare communications for staff meetings and maintain calendars.
