Job summary

Bay Area Church in League City, TX is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support both the church and its Christian School campuses, ensuring a clean, safe, and orderly environment. The role covers routine and emergency repairs, custodial duties, HVAC maintenance, carpentry and electrical tasks, and some landscaping work as needed.

Applicants should have a High School diploma or equivalent, prior maintenance experience, and the ability to work non-standard hours including evenings and weekends;

Qualifications

• Knowledge of general maintenance and repair processes.
• Ability to operate a variety of hand and power tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and initiative.
• Previous maintenance technician experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist skilled workers with repair and maintenance of campus facilities.
• Replace electrical switches, fixtures, and motors.
• Paint, repair, and replace plumbing fixtures and drainage systems.
• Inspect building exterior, interior, and grounds; perform minor repairs.
• Perform routine HVAC maintenance and general carpentry tasks.
• Prepare work areas, follow safety procedures, and complete work orders.
