Job summary

Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale (CCFL) seeks a full-time Audio/Visual technician to maintain and operate the campus AV systems in Fort Lauderdale. You will support weekly church services, events, and special programs with sound, lighting and projection, while training volunteers and ensuring safety standards are upheld.

The role requires a proactive, collaborative team member who can manage multiple tasks, learn new technologies, and remain flexible to evening or weekend events at the Ft.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal skills when interacting with church body and staff.
• Proficient with sound, lighting and video equipment.
• Willingness to learn about AV equipment and software.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintenance and repair of all A/V equipment at the Ft. Lauderdale Campus.
• Set up and run sound and visuals for weekly services and events.
• Train current and new AV volunteers.
• Provide education, training and expertise to all audio technicians and volunteers.
• Operate, set up, and maintain audio/visual equipment including projectors and speakers.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions.
• Maintain records of equipment inventory, maintenance and repairs.
• Ensure equipment safety standards are met.
