Walser Automotive Group is hiring a Chrysler Jeep Dodge Light Duty Technician in Bloomington, MN. You will perform vehicle maintenance and repairs to exacting standards, handle exhaust systems, tires, and batteries, and install accessories and shocks while following safety guidelines.

You will document work and use the Truvideo tool, upholding Walser’s values. Qualifications include an automotive degree or 3+ years of related experience, and current ASE certifications.

Aufgaben

• Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs following standard operating procedures and safety guidelines
• Handle exhaust system work, tire rotation, battery installation and battery cable replacement
• Install accessories and shock absorbers (excluding A/C and air shocks)
• Replace coolant hoses, mirrors, belts, signals, washer systems, headlamps, bulbs; align and replace lamp assemblies
• Perform brake inspections, wheel balancing, drains and flushes, door and window adjustments
• Clean and replace PCV
• Diagnose and fix squeaks, rattles, wind noise, water leaks
• Work per repair order with efficiency and accuracy per standards
• Assess whether further safety or service work is needed and document it
• Document all work performed on the repair order
• Utilize Truvideo/Estimate Tool

Compensation: Up to $26.52/hr based on production!

Initial Requirements:

• Automotive degree/certificate or minimum of 3 years related professional experience required
• Current ASE Certifications required

What You’ll Do:

• Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs while following standard operating procedures and safety guidelines, as well as being held to meeting pre-determined performance standards.
• Responsible for handling work on the Exhaust system of a vehicle, changing and rotating tires, battery installation and battery cable replacement
• Perform installation of accessories and shock absorbers, not including; A/C and air shocks
• Responsible for replacing coolant hoses, mirrors, belts, signals, W/S washers, head Lamps and bulbs as well as aligning and replacing the lamp assembly and courtesy switch
• Perform brake inspections, wheel balancing, drains and flushes, as well as door and window adjustments
• Clean and Replace P.C.V
• Diagnose and fix squeaks and rattles, wind noise and water leaks
• Perform work as outlined on the repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards
• Examine assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended
• Document all work performed on the repair order
• Utilization of Truvideo/Estimate Tool
