The Salvation Army in the Northwest region seeks a Christmas Bell Ringer for the holiday season. This temporary, non-exempt role involves outdoor bell ringing at various local sites to raise funds for community services.
Responsibilities include welcoming donors, following organization guidelines, and maintaining kettle security. Candidates should be at least 17 and able to pass a background check.
SUPERVISOR: Corps Officers
SCHEDULE: Monday through Saturday – some split shifts up to 40 hours a week. Approximate start date November 14 th and working through December 24 th .
Renton will be holding its Bell Ringer Orientation on October 12 at 11:30 a.m. at the Renton Food Bank, located at 206 S. Tobin Street, Renton.

SCOPE OF POSITION:
Christmas Bell Ringers are essential to the Salvation Army and a culturally iconic part of the Christmas Tradition. They provide nostalgia and Christmas Cheer and are responsible for a critical source of revenue that allows The Salvation Army to carry on the part of its mission concerned with providing for those in need in our community without discrimination.
