The Salvation Army in Danville, IL seeks a Kettle Assistant to support bell ringing and logistical needs for the Christmas campaign. You will coordinate kettle sites, manage daily routes, and assist volunteers to ensure smooth operations.

Job Summary: The Kettle Assistant position exists to further mission of the Salvation Army by supporting bell ringing and other logistical needs related to our annual Christmas campaign.

Pay Grade: 202
Pay Range: $15.75 - $18.90 Hourly
Qualifications:
Must be of good moral character and able to interact in a friendly and compassionate manner. Candidates must have a passion for fulfilling the mission of The Salvation Army and must be articulate in presenting the same to others.
Candidates must successfully pass the pre-employment background inquiry and annual motor vehicle check with a valid driver’s license.
Education:
High School Diploma or Equivalent. Significant Customer service-based experiences will be considered in lieu of.

This Position is required to do basic business and office work. In order to successfully perform the essential functions of this position, the individual is regularly required to talk and listen, stand, walk, sit and use hands. Individual must be able to regularly lift up to 50 pounds and occassionally lift up to one hundred pounds. The use of Office and Computer Equipment will be necessary. Vision abilities will require close vision. Work may be performed indoors and outdoors to meet the needs of the position. There is low to moderate noise level for this position.
