Job summary

The San Diego Rock Church and Academy seeks a dedicated toddler teacher to nurture children aged 12-24 months in a Christ-centered program. You will partner with the director and fellow teachers to implement an age-appropriate curriculum and maintain a safe, loving environment for up to 4 toddlers per classroom.

Responsibilities include daily health observations, compliance with Title 22 licensing, consistent communication with families, and modeling professional, compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Read, write, spell, and communicate in English.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office for MAC.
• Ability to multitask and provide excellent customer service.
• Follow verbal and written instructions.
• Maintain classroom operations and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure health and safety of toddlers through constant supervision.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum in line with school philosophy.
• Communicate with director and families about toddler development.
• Maintain compliance with Title 22 licensing and staff ratios.
• Assist with daily classroom setup, diapering routines, and activities.
