Job summary

Second Baptist School is seeking a Middle School Tennis Coach to lead all aspects of the program under the supervision of the Director of Athletics.

The ideal candidate will model Christ-centered leadership, develop players, plan practices, coordinate matches and foster a positive team culture.

This is a seasonal, stipend position based in Houston, Texas. Candidates should be committed to student growth, teamwork and character development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Experience coaching and/or playing tennis.
• Strong communication and mentoring of student athletes.
• Commitment to Christian education and gospel-centered leadership.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement the middle school tennis program.
• Develop players, plan practices, prepare matches.
• Foster positive team culture and Christ-centered leadership.
