Job summary

Lionheart Children's Academy in Tomball, TX is hiring an Early Childhood Teacher to plan and implement developmentally appropriate, Christ-centered programs for children in a safe, nurturing setting. You will ensure licensing compliance, NAC standards, CACFP procedures, and adherence to Lionheart policies.

You will engage families daily, document milestones, collaborate with co-teachers, and participate in staff meetings and events while maintaining flexibility to work with multiple age groups.

Qualifications

• Meets all state minimum standards and qualifications for an Early Childhood Lead Teacher or Assistant Teacher.
• CDA, AA, or BA in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Criminal background check required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver daily activities supporting spiritual, social, emotional, and academic development.
• Supervise children by sight and sound, maintain required ratios and health checks.
• Maintain a safe, clean, age-appropriate learning environment; follow sanitation and Safe Sleep practices.
• Follow licensing regulations, NAC accreditation standards, and CACFP meal procedures.
• Build partnerships with families through daily communication and progress updates.
• Collaborate with co-teachers to ensure smooth classroom operations and participate in staff trainings.
