Qualifications

• Active member of a Christian church.
• 18 years of age minimum.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR and First Aid certification required; must be maintained by recertification as necessary.
• Must pass background check with fingerprinting.
• Experience working with young children in a school or similar setting.

Responsibilities

• Follows course objectives and program in accordance with the policies and philosophy of school.
• Considers the needs of individual children with concerns for their interest, talents and learning pace.
• Maintains order and safety in classroom and on playground.
• Counsels pupils when adjustment problems arise.
• Maintains and checks daily the Parent Portal to inform parents of daily routine.
• Discusses pupils' behavior and achievements with lead teacher and director.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Be available to attend meetings and training as required; may help with holiday care and after-school care.
