Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an approved education program in the subject area.
• Strong background in North Carolina Course of Study/Common Core and Essential Standards.

Responsibilities

• Develops lesson plans and instructional materials providing effective teaching strategies.
• Maintains effective classroom management and differentiates instruction to meet diverse learners.
• Evaluates student progress using multiple assessment methods and provides feedback.
• Communicates with parents in a timely manner and maintains positive relationships with students, staff, parents and community.
• Upholds district and school policies and safety procedures.
