Job Title: Chophouse Restaurant Busser

Salary: $16 + tips

Status: Full Time

Monarch Casino Resort in Black Hawk is a 23-story resort with over 500 rooms, 4 restaurants, and one of the country's top spas. We are looking for a passionate Banquet Manager to join our team! You will thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment that exceeds the expectations of our guests and team members.

The chef-driven menu at Monarch Chophouse features the finest steaks, seafood, and craft cocktails in four-star luxury. Indulge any time of the day at Twenty-Four 7 serving American and Asian fare. Experience exquisite flavors and cuisine from around the globe at The Buffet. Relax in our multiple bars and lounges, with live music at our Cabaret bar every Monday and Tuesday.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the dining room for guests by cleaning and setting tables, decorating, and arranging condiments, napkins, service plates, and utensils.
• Ensure sanitation and safety policies are followed to protect the establishment and guests.
• Maintain table settings by clearing courses, replenishing utensils, refilling water glasses, and attending to spills or special needs.
• Support wait staff by setting up and replenishing condiment stands, trash liners, and bus stations.
• Assist staff by seating guests, operating registers, and answering phones as needed.
• Close the dining area by cleaning chairs and tables, sweeping or vacuuming floors, and removing trash and recyclables.
• Contribute to the organization's reputation by taking ownership of tasks and seeking opportunities to add value.
• Report guest concerns to management promptly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a high-volume, sometimes loud, and dynamic environment.
• Excellent guest service and communication skills.
• Strong listening, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in speaking and writing English.
• Ability to understand and communicate instructions clearly.
• Ability to stand for the entire shift.
• Physical ability to bend, stoop, and use hands continuously.
• Ability to push and pull up to 25 lbs regularly, and occasionally up to 45 lbs.
• Availability to work all shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screening.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
