Job summary

Russell Stover Chocolates in Bluffton, SC is seeking a friendly Retail Associate to welcome customers, assist with product selections, and process payments.

You will stock merchandise, assist with in-house production of items like caramel apples and fudge, and contribute to a clean, well-presented store. Flexibility for evenings and weekends is required; we offer medical/dental/vision/life insurance, a 401k with company match, and product discounts.

Qualifications

• At least 16 years of age.
• Ability to stand, bend, reach and work with your hands.
• Ability to lift up to 5 lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Preferred: High school diploma or GED.
• Preferred: 12 months of experience in a retail, restaurant or fast food environment.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers by greeting them.
• Provide prompt, efficient and courteous customer service.
• Help customers make selections by providing information and suggestions.
• Accurately process payments by totaling purchases and handling checks, cash and cards.
• Prepare and supervise in-house production of items such as caramel apples and fudge.
• Unload, receive and stock merchandise.
• Execute various other merchandising activities.
• Perform regular cleaning and other tasks as required.
• Contribute to team effort by completing diverse tasks as directed.
