Job summary

Blommer Chocolate Company in Union City, CA is seeking a Sanitation Associate to maintain facility cleanliness and ensure production areas meet the highest standards. This role reports to the Sanitation Supervisor and operates Tue-Sat 6:00am–2:30pm.

The position pays $25.00 per hour and offers health and dental benefits from day 1, with tuition reimbursement and a birthday chocolate perk. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 pounds and pass training in safety protocols.

Qualifications

• 6–12 months of experience in a food manufacturing setting.
• Trained in safe chemical handling and storage.
• Ability to be trained in confined space entry and fall protection.

Responsibilities

• Perform general industrial cleaning in production areas.
• Operate equipment to maintain clean floors and remove dirt, spills, and debris.
• Empty trash and waste containers.
• Clean and disinfect washrooms, locker rooms and lunch rooms.
• Wipe walls, equipment and tanks to remove dirt and residues.
