Pay Range:

• Certified Nursing Attendant (Grade 7): $18.51 - $28.70
• Nursing Attendant (Grade 6): $17.84

Job Description:

Provides basic patient care such as personal assistance, medical attention, emotional support, or other personal care in an acute care setting. Responsibilities include implementing specific procedures, coordinating work within and among departments, reporting pertinent information to supervisors, responding to inquiries, and assisting with departmental tasks. Certified Nursing Attendants may be required to float to other departments based on operational needs. Maintains a safe and clean environment while delivering high-quality customer service to patients and families.

Qualifications:

• NY State Nursing Attendant Certification (C.N.A.)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• BLS certification and PMCS within orientation period
• Knowledge of growth & development across the lifespan and ability to individualize care plans
