Occidental Chemical Corporation invites an experienced Technical Manager to lead the Ingleside Plant in Gregory, Texas. You will oversee process engineering, safety, and environmental performance while driving cost reduction and reliability across the site.

You will mentor a technical team, develop control systems, and manage budgets and knowledge management to protect IP and ensure plant excellence. This role emphasizes cross-functional leadership and strong communication.

Competenze

• B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering.
• 10+ years' experience in process engineering and process supervision.
• Technical and presentation skills.
• Well-developed verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to interact and communicate on many levels of the organization.
• Physical requirements - Must be able to lift 40 lbs, climb ladders and stairs, walk, bend, stoop, wear PPE including respirator, and respond to alarms.

• Provide timely communication of status of technical projects/issues and team achievements.
• Manage all available technical resources to meet priorities on time and cost-effectively.
• Set vision and expectations for team members to achieve organizational success.
• Maintain and develop technical knowledge of team members to state of the art level.
• Develop and maintain a knowledge management system for technical documents and IP.
• Manage Technical Department budget to ensure effective use and value creation for OxyChem.
• Provide leadership to foster a united plant attitude.
