Job summary

The Joint Chiropractic is hiring a full-time chiropractor focused on delivering quality care and building strong doctor-patient relationships. The role includes managing patient histories, ordering and interpreting X-rays, and educating patients on routine chiropractic care.

It offers company-paid malpractice insurance, PTO, holiday pay, and medical benefits. Candidates must have a Doctor of Chiropractic degree, NCBE NBCE Part I–IV scores, and a DC license, with eligibility for malpractice

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college.
• Doctor of Chiropractic degree from an accredited chiropractic college.
• Passing scores for NCBE Parts I–IV.
• NBCE SPEC exam is an acceptable Part IV alternative.
• Valid DC license in the applicable state.
• Fully eligible for Malpractice Insurance in the applicable state.

Responsibilities

• Consult with patients by reviewing health and medical histories; questioning, observing, and examining patients; and reviewing x-rays as indicated.
• Evaluate patients’ neuromusculoskeletal systems and the spine to determine conditions.
• Perform manual adjustments to the spine or other joints to correct the musculoskeletal system.
• Educate patients on quality of life benefits of routine chiropractic care and provide a treatment plan.
• Maintain accurate case histories and record patient medical histories as indicated.
• Arrange for diagnostic x-rays when medically necessary and analyze them for sources of problems.
• Provide patient chiropractic care and education; build positive doctor-patient relationships.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records.

The Opportunity:

Responsibilities:

• Consult with patients by reviewing health and medical histories; questioning, observing, and examining patients; and reviewing x-rays, as indicated.
• Evaluate patients’ neuromusculoskeletal systems and the spine using chiropractic diagnosis to determine neuromusculoskeletal and spine related conditions.
• Perform manual adjustments to the spine, or other articulations of the body, in order to correct the musculoskeletal system, where necessary.
• Educate patients on the quality of life benefits of routine chiropractic care. Provide a recommended course of treatment.
• Maintain accurate case histories of patients.
• Obtain and record patients’ medical histories, as indicated.
• Arrange for diagnostic x-rays to be taken, when medically necessary.
• Analyze x-rays to locate the sources of patients’ difficulties and to rule out fractures or diseases as sources of problems.

Qualifications needed:

• 4-year bachelor’s degree from an accredited college
• A Doctor of Chiropractic degree from an accredited chiropractic college

• A recent NBCE SPEC exam is an acceptable alternative for Part IV
• Valid DC license in the applicable state
• Fully eligible for Malpractice Insurance in the applicable state
