Job summary

The Joint Chiropractic is seeking licensed chiropractors in New York to join our nationwide network. Our model provides marketing, insurance handling, and administrative support so you can focus on patient care and quality outcomes.

We offer full-time and part-time opportunities with pay ranging from $45 to $55 per hour, plus PTO, bonuses, and company-paid malpractice insurance, plus opportunities for advancement across the nation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college is required.
• Doctor of Chiropractic degree from an accredited chiropractic college is required.
• Passing scores for NCBE Parts I–IV are required.
• NBCE SPEC exam is an acceptable alternative for Part IV.
• Valid DC license in the applicable state is required.
• Fully eligible for Malpractice Insurance in the applicable state.

Responsibilities

• Consult with patients by reviewing histories and conducting examinations.
• Evaluate neuromusculoskeletal systems and spine to diagnose conditions.
• Perform manual adjustments to the spine and other joints.
• Educate patients on the benefits of routine chiropractic care and plan treatment.
• Maintain accurate patient case histories.
• Record medical histories and obtain information as needed.
• Arrange diagnostic x-rays when necessary and analyze results.
• Build positive doctor-patient relationships and maintain records.
• Support sales of membership packages.
• Contribute to a collaborative patient care experience.

The Opportunity:

Responsibilities:

• Consult with patients by reviewing health and medical histories; questioning, observing, and examining patients; and reviewing x-rays, as indicated.
• Evaluate patients’ neuromusculoskeletal systems and the spine using chiropractic diagnosis to determine neuromusculoskeletal and spine related conditions.
• Perform manual adjustments to the spine, or other articulations of the body, in order to correct the musculoskeletal system, where necessary.
• Educate patients on the quality of life benefits of routine chiropractic care. Provide a recommended course of treatment.
• Maintain accurate case histories of patients.
• Obtain and record patients’ medical histories, as indicated.
• Arrange for diagnostic x-rays to be taken, when medically necessary.
• Analyze x-rays to locate the sources of patients' difficulties and to rule out fractures or diseases as sources of problems.

Qualifications needed:

• 4-year bachelor’s degree from an accredited college
• A Doctor of Chiropractic degree from an accredited chiropractic college
• Passing scores for Parts I, II, III, and IV from NCBE
• A recent NBCE SPEC exam is an acceptable alternative for Part IV
• Valid DC license in the applicable state
• Fully eligible for Malpractice Insurance in the applicable state
