Job summary

The Joint Chiropractic in Rockwall, TX is seeking a Part-Time Chiropractor to join its team. You will provide chiropractic care with support in marketing, insurance, and administration, enabling you to focus on patient care.

Responsibilities include patient evaluation, adjustments, education on care plans, and maintaining records, with a 2-day weekly schedule and competitive pay plus incentives.

Qualifications

• Licensed DC with a minimum of 2 years experience.
• D.C. degree from an accredited college.
• Four-year bachelor’s degree from an accredited college.
• Doctor of Chiropractic degree from an accredited chiropractic college.
• Passing scores for Parts I–IV from NCBE or NBCE SPEC for Part IV.
• Valid DC license in the applicable state.
• Fully eligible for Malpractice Insurance in the applicable state.

Responsibilities

• Consult with patients by reviewing health and medical histories and examining patients.
• Evaluate patients’ neuro-musculoskeletal systems and spine using chiropractic diagnosis.
• Perform manual adjustments to the spine to correct the musculoskeletal system.
• Educate patients on benefits of routine chiropractic care and provide treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate patient case histories and records.
• Arrange for diagnostic x-rays when necessary and analyze them.
• Build positive doctor-patient relationships and sell membership packages.

Responsibilities:

• Consult with patients by reviewing health and medical histories; questioning, observing, and examining patients; and reviewing x-rays, as indicated.


• Evaluate patients’ neuro-musculoskeletal systems and the spine using chiropractic diagnosis to determine neuro-musculoskeletal and spine related conditions.


• Perform manual adjustments to the spine, or other articulations of the body, in order to correct the musculoskeletal system, where necessary.


• Educate patients on the quality of life benefits of routine chiropractic care. Provide a recommended course of treatment.


• Maintain accurate case histories of patients.


• Obtain and record patients' medical histories, as indicated.


• Arrange for diagnostic x-rays to be taken, when medically necessary.


• Analyze x-rays to locate the sources of patients' difficulties and to rule out fractures or diseases as sources of problems.

Qualifications needed:

• A minimum of 2 yearsexperience as a licensed DC


• 4-year bachelor’s degree from an accredited college


• A Doctor of Chiropractic degree from an accredited chiropractic college


• Passing scores for Parts I, II, III, and IV from NCBE


• A recent NBCE SPEC exam is an acceptable alternative for Part IV


• Valid DC license in the applicable state


• Fully eligible for Malpractice Insurance in the applicable state
