Job summary

The Joint Chiropractic Arkansas is seeking a part-time chiropractor to join our patient-centered care team. You will review histories, perform manual adjustments, educate patients, and build lasting doctor-patient relationships while contributing to membership sales.

We offer a flexible schedule (1-3 days/week, 10am-7pm, Saturdays), competitive hourly wages of 40-50 USD plus bonus, and company-paid malpractice insurance. Franchise ownership potential is available as you advance.

Qualifications

• 4-year bachelor’s degree from an accredited college.
• Doctor of Chiropractic degree from an accredited chiropractic college.
• Passing NBCE Parts I–IV, or NBCE SPEC Part IV as alternative.
• Valid DC license in the applicable state and malpractice insurance eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Consult with patients by reviewing histories and examining patients.
• Evaluate neuromusculoskeletal systems and spine to diagnose conditions.
• Perform manual spinal adjustments to correct musculoskeletal issues.
• Educate patients on benefits of routine chiropractic care and treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate patient case histories and records.
• Manage diagnostic x-rays when medically necessary and interpret findings.
• Sales of membership packages and building doctor-patient relationships.

The Opportunity:

• Part Time: 1-3 days per week (10am-7pm), Saturday(10am-4pm)

Responsibilities:

• Consult with patients by reviewing health and medical histories; questioning, observing, and examining patients; and reviewing x-rays, as indicated.
• Evaluate patients’ neuromusculoskeletal systems and the spine using chiropractic diagnosis to determine neuromusculoskeletal and spine related conditions.
• Perform manual adjustments to the spine, or other articulations of the body, in order to correct the musculoskeletal system, where necessary.
• Educate patients on the quality of life benefits of routine chiropractic care. Provide a recommended course of treatment.
• Maintain accurate case histories of patients.
• Obtain and record patients’ medical histories, as indicated.
• Arrange for diagnostic x-rays to be taken, when medically necessary.
• Analyze x-rays to locate the sources of patients’ difficulties and to rule out fractures or diseases as sources of problems.

Qualifications needed:

• 4-year bachelor’s degree from an accredited college
• A Doctor of Chiropractic degree from an accredited chiropractic college
• Passing scores for Parts I, II, III, and IV from NCBE
• A recent NBCE SPEC exam is an acceptable alternative for Part IV
• Valid DC license in the applicable state
• Fully eligible for Malpractice Insurance in the applicable state
