The Joint Chiropractic – Lorain is seeking a licensed Doctor of Chiropractic to join our nationwide network of self-pay clinics. You will evaluate patients, perform adjustments, educate on ongoing care and maintain thorough records while promoting membership options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college.
• Doctor of Chiropractic degree from an accredited chiropractic college.
• Passing scores for Parts I, II, III and IV from NCBE.
• A recent NBCE SPEC exam is acceptable alternative for Part IV.
• Valid DC license in the applicable state.
• Fully eligible for Malpractice Insurance in the applicable state.

Responsibilities

• Consult with patients by reviewing health and medical histories; questioning, observing and examining patients; and reviewing x-rays as indicated.
• Evaluate patients’ neuromusculoskeletal systems and the spine to determine conditions.
• Perform manual adjustments to the spine or other articulations to correct the musculoskeletal system where necessary.
• Educate patients on the benefits of routine chiropractic care and provide a recommended course of treatment.
• Maintain accurate case histories of patients and record medical histories.
• Arrange for diagnostic x-rays when medically necessary and analyze images to locate sources of difficulties.
• Provide patient chiropractic care and education; maintain accurate and timely patient records.
• Sales of memberships and packages.
