Job summary

The Joint Chiropractic in Fontana and Upland, CA is seeking a Doctor of Chiropractic to join our Sierra Lakes Village clinic. You will provide patient care, conduct histories, exams, and adjustments, and educate patients on benefits of routine chiropractic care.

Qualifications

• 4-year bachelor’s degree from an accredited college.
• A Doctor of Chiropractic degree from an accredited chiropractic college.
• Passing scores for Parts I, II, III, and IV from NCBE.
• A recent NBCE SPEC exam is an acceptable alternative for Part IV.
• Valid DC license in the applicable state.
• Fully eligible for Malpractice Insurance in the applicable state.

Responsibilities

• Consult with patients by reviewing health histories, questioning, observing, and examining patients; reviewing x-rays as indicated.
• Evaluate patients’ neuromusculoskeletal systems and the spine to determine related conditions.
• Perform manual adjustments to the spine or other articulations to correct the musculoskeletal system.
• Educate patients on the benefits of routine chiropractic care and provide a recommended course of treatment.
• Maintain accurate case histories of patients.
• Obtain and record patients' medical histories as indicated.
• Arrange for diagnostic x-rays when medically necessary.
• Analyze x-rays to locate sources of difficulty and rule out fractures or diseases.
• Provide patient chiropractic care and education.
• Maintain timely patient records.
• Sales of membership packages.
