Job summary

HealthSource Chiropractic of Woodbridge is seeking a doctor of chiropractic to join our team. You will consult patients, review histories, and perform spine adjustments. We offer PTO, CEU coverage, ongoing training, and malpractice insurance.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Chiropractic degree from an accredited college.
• Valid VA license.
• Fully eligible for Malpractice Insurance in VA.
• Minimum 2 years of experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Review health histories and perform patient examinations.
• Evaluate neuromusculoskeletal and spine conditions.
• Perform manual spine adjustments as needed.
• Educate patients on benefits of routine chiropractic care and treatment plans.
• Coordinate, track, and report key patient management metrics.
• Maintain accurate patient case histories and records.
• Take diagnostic X-rays when medically necessary and analyze results.
• Build positive doctor-patient relationships and keep records updated.
• Assist in sales of wellness memberships and community outreach.
• Participate in weekly staff training and team collaboration.

Responsibilities:

• Consult with patients by reviewing health and medical histories; questioning, observing, and examining patients.
• Evaluate patients’ neuromusculoskeletal systems and the spine using chiropractic diagnosis to determine neuromusculoskeletal and spine-related conditions.
• Perform manual adjustments to the spine, or other articulations of the body, in order to correct the musculoskeletal system, where necessary.
• Educate patients on the quality of life benefits of routine chiropractic care. Provide a recommended course of treatment.
• Coordinate, track, and report key metrics/measurements related to patient management.
• Maintain accurate case histories of patients.
• Obtain and record patients' medical histories, as indicated.
• Take diagnostic x-rays, when medically necessary.
• Analyze X-rays in order to locate the sources of patients' difficulties and to rule out fractures or diseases as sources of problems.
• Building positive doctor-patient relationships.
• Maintaining accurate and timely patient records.
• Sales of wellness membership packages.
• Participate in community outreach and marketing initiatives.
• Participate/lead weekly training for staff.
• Strong attention to detail with demonstrated process management skills.
• Ability to work independently and with some late evenings and weekend hours as necessary.

Qualifications Required:
