Job summary

The Joint Chiropractic in Ocala, FL is seeking a licensed Doctor of Chiropractic to join our patient-focused team. This role provides the opportunity to work in a flexible, part-time schedule while delivering high-quality spinal care and building lasting doctor-patient relationships.

You will review health histories, perform examinations, and administer manual adjustments while educating patients on care plans.

Qualifications

• 4-year bachelor’s degree from an accredited college.
• Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree from an accredited college.
• Pass NCBE Parts I, II, III, and IV; NBCE SPEC exam acceptable for Part IV.
• Valid DC license in the applicable state; malpractice insurance eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Consult with patients by reviewing health and medical histories and examinations.
• Evaluate neuro-musculoskeletal conditions and spine using chiropractic diagnosis.
• Perform manual adjustments to correct musculoskeletal issues as needed.
• Educate patients on lifestyle and care plans for improved quality of life.
• Maintain accurate patient case histories and medical records.
• Coordinate diagnostics including x-rays when medically indicated.
• Build positive doctor-patient relationships and discuss treatment options.
• Assist in selling membership packages and follow-up care arrangements.

The Opportunity:

Responsibilities:

• Consult with patients by reviewing health and medical histories; questioning, observing, and examining patients; and reviewing x-rays, as indicated


• Evaluate patients’ neuro-musculoskeletal systems and the spine using chiropractic diagnosis to determine neuro-musculoskeletal and spine related conditions


• Perform manual adjustments to the spine, or other articulations of the body, in order to correct the musculoskeletal system, where necessary


• Educate patients on the quality of life benefits of routine chiropractic care. Provide a recommended course of treatment


• Maintain accurate case histories of patients


• Obtain and record patients' medical histories, as indicated


• Arrange for diagnostic x-rays to be taken, when medically necessary


• Analyze x-rays to locate the sources of patients' difficulties and to rule out fractures or diseases as sources of problems


• Patient chiropractic care and education


• Building positive doctor-patient relationships


• Maintaining accurate and timely patient records


• Sales of membership packages

Qualifications needed:

• 4-year bachelor’s degree from an accredited college


• A Doctor of Chiropractic degree from an accredited chiropractic college


• Passing scores for Parts I, II, III, and IV from NCBE


• A recent NBCE SPEC exam is an acceptable alternative for Part IV


• Valid DC license in the applicable state


• Fully eligible for Malpractice Insurance in the applicable state
