Job summary

The Joint Chiropractic is looking for a part-time chiropractor in Cincinnati to provide high-quality chiropractic care. You will consult with patients, review histories, perform examinations, and determine neuromusculoskeletal diagnoses.

You’ll perform manual adjustments and educate patients on treatment plans. Responsibilities include maintaining patient records, arranging necessary x-rays, and building strong doctor-patient relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college.
• Doctor of Chiropractic degree from an accredited college.
• Passing scores for NCBE Parts I, II, III, and IV or NBCE SPEC as alternative.

Responsibilities

• Consult with patients by reviewing health and medical histories and performing examinations.
• Evaluate neuromusculoskeletal systems and spine to diagnose conditions.
• Perform manual adjustments to the spine and other articulations as needed.
• Educate patients on benefits of chiropractic care and outline treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate patient case histories and records.
• Arrange and interpret diagnostic x-rays when medically necessary.
• Build strong doctor-patient relationships and manage patient records.
• Sell membership packages as part of care plan.

The Opportunity:

• Part time:Open availability Monday to Saturday
• Competitive Salary $40 - $60 per hour + Bonus
• Company paid malpractice insurance

Responsibilities:

• Consult with patients by reviewing health and medical histories; questioning, observing, and examining patients; and reviewing x-rays, as indicated.
• Evaluate patients’ neuromusculoskeletal systems and the spine using chiropractic diagnosis to determine neuromusculoskeletal and spine related conditions.
• Perform manual adjustments to the spine, or other articulations of the body, in order to correct the musculoskeletal system, where necessary.
• Educate patients on the quality of life benefits of routine chiropractic care. Provide a recommended course of treatment.
• Maintain accurate case histories of patients.
• Obtain and record patients’ medical histories, as indicated.
• Arrange for diagnostic x-rays to be taken, when medically necessary.
• Analyze x-rays to locate the sources of patients’ difficulties and to rule out fractures or diseases as sources of problems.

Qualifications needed:

• 4-year bachelor’s degree from an accredited college
• A Doctor of Chiropractic degree from an accredited chiropractic college
• Passing scores for Parts I, II, III, and IV from NCBE
• A recent NBCE SPEC exam is an acceptable alternative for Part IV
• Valid DC license in the applicable state
• Fully eligible for Malpractice Insurance in the applicable state
