The Joint Chiropractic in Lansing, MI is seeking a Doctor of Chiropractic to join our dynamic team. You will deliver patient-centered care, educate patients, and work within The Joint model under guided mentorship from experienced clinicians.

This role emphasizes collaboration, accountability, and growth within a supportive culture. We offer mentorship in both clinical and business spaces, opportunities for advancement, and a path toward practice ownership outside of The Joint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college.
• Doctor of Chiropractic degree from an accredited college.
• Pass NBCE Parts I-IV or Part IV alternative.
• Valid DC license in Michigan.
• Fully eligible for malpractice insurance in Michigan.

Responsabilités

• Consult with patients; review histories and exam patients as indicated.
• Evaluate neuromusculoskeletal systems and perform chiropractic adjustments.
• Educate patients on benefits of routine chiropractic care and recommend treatments.
• Maintain accurate patient records and case histories.
• Build positive doctor-patient relationships and manage follow-ups.
• Coordinate with the team and participate in membership sales.

We do require the following:

• 4-year Bachelor's degree from accredited college
• Doctor of Chiropractic Degree from an accredited chiropractic college
• Passing scores for Parts I, II, III and IV from NCBE
• A recent NBCE SPEC exam is an acceptable alternative for Part IV
• Valid DC license in Michigan
• Fully eligible for Malpractice Insurance in Michigan

*Responsibilities:

• Consult with patients by reviewing health and medical histories; questioning, observing and examining patients; and reviewing x-rays, as indicated.
• Evaluate patients’ neuromusculoskeletal systems and the spine using chiropractic diagnosis to determine neuromusculoskeletal and spine related conditions.
• Perform manual adjustments to the spine, or other articulations of the body, in order to correct the musculoskeletal system, where necessary.
• Educate patients on the quality of life benefits of routine chiropractic care. Provide a recommended course of treatment.
• Maintain accurate case histories of patients.
• Obtain and record patients' medical histories, as indicated.
• Arrange for diagnostic x-rays to be taken, when medically necessary.
• Analyze x-rays in order to locate the sources of patients' difficulties and to rule out fractures or diseases as sources of problems.
• Patient chiropractic care and education towards a wellness oriented chiropractic lifestyle.
• Building positive doctor-patient relationships

• Sales of membership plans and packages through care-focused conversation.
