Job summary

Archetype seeks a friendly Chiropractic Assistant to join our Birmingham clinic. You will support the Chiropractor with patient care and help ensure the office runs smoothly, including scheduling, answering calls and emails, and greeting patients on arrival.

You will work closely with our chiropractors and muscle therapist. The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, and able to manage multiple tasks while maintaining high standards of care and professionalism.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous administrative experience, preferably in a health care setting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients as they arrive at the clinic
• Maintain the cleanliness of work space
• Answer inquiries via phone calls and email
• Schedule, confirm, and cancel appointments
• Perform data entry and maintain accurate records
• Interview patients to obtain personal and medical information
• Verify payment methods and process payments
• Maintain appropriate levels of supplies and inventory
• Administer screening assessments as requested
• Assist the chiropractor with patients when needed
