Job summary

Lake Superior Community Health Center is seeking a Chiropractic Assistant/Receptionist to join our clinical team in Minnesota. You will support patient care and the chiropractors with clerical and delegated clinical duties, ensuring smooth patient flow and proper documentation.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, diligence in maintaining radiography equipment, and willingness to obtain X-ray certification within 60 days of hire. Evening hours may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with pre-visit planning for patients including review of routine x-rays, preventative services, and acquiring supporting documentation from other providers.
• Assure needed documentation is present such as requested by the chiropractor.
• Provide direct care to patients and assist chiropractor with clinical procedures consistent with protocols.
• Assure patient flow is efficient and patients are redistributed as necessary in order to stay on-time.
• Open exam & treatment rooms at beginning of the day and close at end of the day.
• Prepare patients for appointment and assist to exam room; capture chief complaint; obtain pre-procedure information.
• Discharge patients; maintain radiography equipment according to policy and procedure; keep current CPR and radiology certifications.
