Job summary

Excelsia Injury Care is looking for a dedicated staff member to assist patients and perform physical therapy modalities in Gaithersburg, MD. This role requires supporting patients before and after care from the Doctor of Chiropractic, taking vital signs, and ensuring cleanliness in treatment areas.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, state certification or enrollment in a training course, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• State certification or enrollment in course including 20 observation hours and 520 clinical hours.
• Certification in CPR and/or First Aid must be maintained.
• 1-year experience providing physical therapy or chiropractic care.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients pre and post care by the D.C.
• Take vital signs of patients.
• Perform physical therapy modalities as directed by the D.C.
• Document modalities performed and patient comments on progress notes.

Skills

Certification in CPR and/or First Aid

1-year experience in office providing physical therapy

Excellent communication skills

Organizational skills

Education

High school diploma or GED equivalent
