Job summary

Lake Superior Community Health is seeking a Chiropractic Assistant/Receptionist to support the clinical care team and manage clerical duties. The role includes assisting with patient prep, reviewing routine X-rays, and ensuring smooth patient flow.

Responsibilities include preparing exam rooms, aiding chiropractors during procedures, maintaining equipment, and documenting necessary information. XRAY certification is required within 60 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• Able to provide care in a sensitive, nonjudgmental manner.
• Familiarity with general office equipment and computer use.
• Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings.
• Required to become certified in X-ray operation within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist with pre-visit planning and review of routine X-ray results.
• Prepare patients for appointment and assist chiropractor with procedures.
• Maintain exam rooms and stock supplies; ensure equipment is ready.
• Discharge patients and ensure chart documentation is complete.
• Keep radiography equipment in good working order and schedule inspections.
