Job summary

Automation Personnel Services is seeking a Chip Production Operator for a company based in Sugar Land, Texas. The SPD Chip Production Operator is responsible for manufacturing semiconductor lasers from compound semiconductor wafers, ensuring that all operations are performed in a class 10000 clean room environment and strictly adhere to Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in process technology preferred.
• One year in industrial manufacturing; semiconductor production desirable.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Able to follow written, oral, or diagram instructions.
• Strong communication skills; able to stand or sit for long periods; lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all safety policies and SOPs; report unsafe conditions.
• Attend and complete all required training programs.
• Conduct manufacturing activities in a class 10000 cleanroom.
• Complete production documentation accurately and report deviations.
• Assist in new product introductions and increase production output.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace; follow maintenance and calibration policies.
• Work effectively in a team in a fast-paced environment with quality standards.
