Job summary

Leidos is seeking an experienced Systems Engineering SME to provide technical leadership for the Chinook Program supporting the customers' application. This role leads architecture, modernization strategies, and ensures high availability of cloud-based systems.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate with end users and government managers, and influence technical direction across cross-functional teams. Active Top Secret/SCI clearance may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 12+ years of progressive systems engineering experience.
• Experience leading technical teams and influencing engineering strategy.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical lead and systems engineering authority for the customer application.
• Define system architecture, engineering standards, technical roadmaps, and modernization strategies.
• Manage and maintain cloud-based application systems to ensure high availability, reliability, and performance.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
• Lead requirements analysis, system design, integration, verification, and validation.
