Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented, energetic, and reliable Chinese-Speaking Livestream Auction Moderator to support fast-paced live auction broadcasts.

The moderator will work behind the scenes with livestream hosts, project managers, and production teams to manage auction timing, product listings, viewer comments, promotional information, and overall broadcast flow.

This role requires strong attention to detail, quick decision-making, and the ability to communicate clearly in both Mandarin Chinese and English. The ideal candidate can remain organized under pressure while actively supporting the host and maintaining strong sales momentum throughout the livestream.

Responsibilities

• Support live auction broadcasts on TikTok Shop and other digital platforms
• Communicate with Chinese-speaking project managers and team members regarding products, pricing, promotions, and livestream strategy
• Coordinate closely with the host and proactively support sales conversion
• Manage product links, product pinning, auction order, pricing, inventory, and promotional information
• Track auction timing, countdowns, winning bids, product transitions, and upcoming items
• Provide the host with timely reminders regarding pricing, product details, calls to action, and auction pacing
• Monitor viewer comments and respond to questions promptly and professionally
• Highlight purchasing instructions, promotional details, and important auction rules in the chat
• Help maintain strong livestream energy, urgency, and audience participation
• Identify technical, inventory, pricing, or product-link issues and report them immediately
• Complete pre-stream checks for products, lighting, cameras, audio, internet connection, livestream software, and product listings
• Record relevant livestream data and assist with post-stream reporting
• Follow established auction procedures, project guidelines, and escalation protocols
• Participate in paid training, rehearsals, and team meetings as assigned
• Maintain professional attendance, communication, and workplace conduct

Qualifications

Preferred Experience

• Livestream moderation, auction, e-commerce, or TikTok Shop experience
• Experience with live selling, online auctions, product operations, or customer service
• Familiarity with fashion, handbags, accessories, collectibles, beauty, or lifestyle products
• Experience using livestream dashboards, product-management systems, spreadsheets, OBS, or similar tools
• Previous experience coordinating with hosts, production teams, or project managers
• Understanding of sales conversion, audience engagement, and auction pacing
