Ministrylist is seeking an Associate/Assistant Pastor to serve the Chinese congregation, partnering with the Senior Pastor and Session to cast vision and plan ministry. The role includes teaching, pulpit ministry, Sunday School, and caring for the flock through fellowship and visits.

Qualifications

• M.Div. degree or equivalent from an accredited school.
• Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and able to communicate in English.
• Clear calling to pastoral ministry and shepherding with love.
• Proven expository preaching and teaching God's Word.
• Experience in shepherding or serving in a local church; teamwork oriented.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Senior Pastor and Session in vision casting and ministry planning for the Chinese congregation.
• Teach the Word of God faithfully, fill the pulpit as needed, and teach Sunday School and Bible studies.
• Shepherd the Chinese congregation and care for spiritual needs through fellowship, small groups, discipleship, visiting and in-person interactions.
• Broaden GCC’s outreach ministry in local Chinese communities by developing and organizing fellowship groups for seekers and new believers to foster church growth.
• Minister to young adults and young professionals through fellowship and outreach activities to build community.
• Participate in church government alongside elders and deacons.
