Job summary

NSA is seeking Linguists, MDLAs, to support SIGINT by analyzing, transcribing, and translating foreign language materials. LADP candidates may rotate across offices, with intensive classroom and on-the-job training.

Applicants must have ILR 2/2 in reading/listening for the target language and meet entry or full-performance criteria. Roles involve collaboration with partners across the IC, mentoring other analysts, and contributing to SIGINT reporting and development.

Qualifications

• ILR level 2/2 in reading and listening for the target language.
• Minimum education or experience per Entry/Developmental and Full Performance levels.
• Experience in language analysis, translation, transcription, or related fields.
• Ability to work across intelligence topics and collaborate with teams.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, transcribe, and translate foreign language materials for SIGINT.
• Engage with partners and customers across the IC to support mission needs.
• Participate in LADP or direct hire paths with multiple rotation tours.
• Mentor, coach, and support other language analysts as needed.
