Job summary

NSA is seeking multilingual Language Analysts to support the SIGINT mission. The role involves analyzing foreign language materials, translating and transcribing content, and providing insights to policymakers and military leaders. Candidates with ILR level 2/2 in reading and listening and a degree in any field are encouraged to apply.

MDLA personnel may participate in the LADP or direct hire into analytic offices. Training, tours, and opportunities to advance within NSA are provided.

Qualifications

• Must have ILR level 2/2 in reading and listening for target language.
• Degree in any field acceptable; 4+ years relevant experience needed for entry.
• Experience in language transcription, translation, analysis, or related work preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, translate, transcribe foreign language materials for SIGINT.
• Work with partners and customers across the Intelligence Community.
• Participate in LADP or direct-hire paths to analytic missions.
• Mentor and coach other Language Analysts and ensure quality of work.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of language, culture, and relevant topics.
