Job summary

HOKALI is seeking enthusiastic After School Enrichment Educators in Lafayette, CA. You will supervise TK–8th grade students during after-school programs, ensuring safety and engaging them with planned activities. Mandarin teaching experience is especially valued.

We offer flexible Tue 3:30-4:30pm and Thu 3:15-4:15pm sessions (Sept 1–Dec 17) with pay at $50/hr, plus opportunities for growth and access to HOKALI Academy as a collaborative learning community.

This role focuses on supervising and engaging students during after-school enrichment programming. It's ideal for educators who enjoy a dynamic environment and are passionate about creating safe, engaging, and supportive learning experiences.

We're Actively Seeking Instructors with Mandarin teaching Experience.

Grades: TK-5th

Schedule: Tue 3:30-4:30pm & Thu 3:15-4:15pm (1 Sept - 17 Dec)

Pay: $50/hr

In this role, you will:

• Supervise students from Transitional Kindergarten (TK) through 8th grade
• Ensure student safety and well-being at all times
• Plan and lead engaging recreational and enrichment activities
• Facilitate positive social interactions and encourage teamwork
• Effectively manage student behavior using positive reinforcement
• Maintain accurate attendance and incident records
• Prepare and organize activity materials, keeping spaces clean and safe
