Job summary

Schebler Company is seeking a CAD Drafter (Autodesk Inventor) in Bettendorf, IA, on-site. You will create 3D models and drawings for data centers and industrial facilities, collaborating with designers, engineers, and project teams.

The role supports manufacturing-ready outputs and coordination models. We value an Associate degree or equivalent, 1–3 years drafting experience, and proficiency with Inventor, AutoCAD, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent drafting experience.
• 1–3 years of technical drafting experience preferred; recent graduates welcome.
• Experience with a 3D parametric tool (Autodesk Inventor preferred; SolidWorks/Creo also considered).
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Collaborative mindset with good communication.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel/Outlook/Word).

Responsibilities

• Create 3D models and technical drawings from customer specifications with guidance from designers and engineers.

CAD Drafter (Autodesk Inventor)

Bettendorf, IA | On-site | 1st Shift (Monday–Friday) | Employee-Owned Company (ESOP)

Build your drafting career on real-world systems used in industrial facilities and large-scale data centers across North America. Schebler's Chimney Systems Division is adding drafters. You'll create 3D models and technical drawings for engineered metal systems that support data centers, industrial facilities, and manufacturing plants, working alongside designers, engineers, production, and project teams.

What You'll Do

• Create 3D models and technical drawings from customer specifications, with guidance from experienced designers and engineers
• Develop submittal drawings and coordination models using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD
• Produce manufacturing-ready drawings for fabrication and production teams
• Review drawings for accuracy, quality, and manufacturability
• Work with designers, engineers, and project managers to refine drawings

What We're Looking For

• Associate's degree in CAD, Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field, or equivalent drafting experience
• 1–3 years of technical drafting experience preferred; recent graduates with strong technical skills are encouraged to apply

This is an on-site position in Bettendorf, IA. Relocation assistance is not available.
