Qualifications

• Construction experience preferred, 2+ years is helpful.
• Must have a valid driver''s license.
• Punctual and trustworthy with reliable work ethic.
• Excellent communication skills for customer interaction.
• Sales ability is a plus for recommendations and upgrades.
• Ability to lift 80+ pounds and handle physical demanding work.
• Willingness to work overtime during peak season and push through tough conditions.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and sweep chimneys, fireplaces, and dryer vents to ensure safety and proper operation.
• Perform chimney repairs, repointing/tuckpointing, and install caps and chase covers.
• Reinforce flashing to prevent leaks and protect homes.
• Work on rooftops in various weather conditions with safety as a priority.
• Take pride in hands-on craftsmanship and contribute to family protection.

ABOUT THIS ROLE

As a Chimney Service Technician, you push yourself to the limit. You start by gearing up, knowing that you'll be scaling ladders, navigating steep rooftops, and working in unpredictable weather conditions. Chimney maintenance is no small task; you'll be inspecting and sweeping chimneys, fireplaces, and dryer vents, ensuring they are safe and functioning properly. Your work also includes chimney repairs, repointing/tuckpointing, installing chimney caps and chase covers, and reinforcing flashing to prevent leaks. This job requires endurance, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety. It's hard work, but at the end of the day, you take pride in knowing your skills help protect homes and families.
