Job summary

Norristown Chimney LLC is seeking an experienced Mason to join the team for a new opportunity. The Mason will learn the trade and construct/repair brick, stone, and concrete structures with high craftsmanship.

The role requires independent work as well as teamwork to meet project timelines and budgets. Responsibilities include wall and chimney construction, mortar work, material shaping, and using chisels, hammers, and saws under safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience as a Mason or related field preferred.
• Able to lift and move heavy objects safely.
• Excellent manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
• Able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Construct and repair walls, chimneys, and other brick, stone, and concrete structures.
• Mix, apply, and spread mortar and other adhesives.
• Cut and shape bricks, stone, and other materials.
• Use chisels, hammers, and saws to complete projects.
• Ensure that all projects are completed in accordance with safety regulations and standards.
• Perform other tasks as requested.
