Job summary

Jobtailor in Houston is seeking a highly skilled HVAC/refrigeration technician to install, commission, and maintain a wide range of equipment. You will communicate effectively with customers on-site and off-site, support inventory and tool procurement, and uphold safety policies across fast-paced projects.

Ideal candidates hold a Licensed Technician status with EPA certification, possess startup/commissioning and chiller troubleshooting expertise, and demonstrate strong multitasking abilities in

Qualifications

Current Licensed Technician (mandatory).
Holds EPA Certification.
Water Cooled Chiller VFD Troubleshooting experience.
Water Cooled Chiller Troubleshooting experience.
Chiller rebuild experience.
Startup & Commissioning experience.
Crane signaling and rigging experience.
Steam boiler/system maintenance, troubleshooting, service including setting combustion experience.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Detail-oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment.
Versed in the industry and the Company’s competitors.
Ability to multitask and perform duties outside of the scope of work when necessary.
Tech IV Skills Level

Responsibilities

Installation and commission of a wide variety of HVAC & refrigeration equipment.
Maintenance of HVAC & refrigeration equipment.
Establishes and maintains clear communications with customers while both on and off the customer job sites.
Assists in maintaining inventory and tool procurement of individual service vehicle.
Promotes and performs all aspects of BMCC's safety procedures and policies.
