Job summary

Evolution Mechanical is seeking a skilled HVAC Chiller Technician to join our Irving, TX team. You will diagnose, service, and maintain scroll, screw, and centrifugal chillers (air- and water-cooled) while prioritizing safety and reliability.

You should be comfortable working independently and with a team, documenting work, and supporting project teams with cost estimates and site assessments. This is a safety-sensitive role with a culture focused on excellence.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and service scroll, screw and centrifugal chillers (air- and water-cooled).
• Perform preventative maintenance per contractual agreements.

• Complete and submit accurate log sheets and service documentation.
• Support Account Managers with site assessments and cost estimates.

HVAC Chiller Technician – Job Duties & General Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and service the following equipment:
  • Scroll chillers (air-cooled and/or water-cooled)
  • Screw chillers (air-cooled and/or water-cooled)
  • Centrifugal chillers
• Perform preventative maintenance (PM) services per contractual agreements
• Troubleshoot both airside and waterside system issues
• Complete and submit accurate log sheets and service documentation
• Support Account Managers and Supervisors with jobsite assessments and cost estimates

Preferred but Not Required:

• Overhaul experience with chillers

General Requirements:

• Clean driving record
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with the team
